This summer has been so much fun. We have been really busy, going on all sorts of adventures!!

Skylr has been playing with her new link 'n logs that I found at savers for $8. When we first got them she didn't know how to build a house and constantly said that we got this toy for daddy, but now she can build all the houses she wants and is a pro.

We made it out to settlers park this year. Julie, her kids, my mom, logan and the Lucore gang played for a few hours at the park and in the water. Gavin went on the swings for the first time and loved them. That same weekend Gavin got his top teeth in and now is sporting four teeth (at 8 months old).

Gavin loves to be outside and has finally enjoyed sitting on the grass and splashing in the pool.

Always have to capture a picture of the two goofballs :)

We were also able to go on our first family camping trip, just us Lucore's. Gavin was teething so he was definitely a cling on!! But we were still able to have loads of fun.

One of Skylr's favorite parts was definitely having smores!! But I have to admit that that was probably a family fav. after 4wheeling of course :)

We were 4 wheeling all over the map!! We loaded all four of us Lucore's on our bike and putted around the hill sides.

After 4 wheeling we enjoyed relaxing with mother nature at camp.

Here is were we camped at Silver Creek Plunge. Just behind our tent is a creek that sounds amazing while you are sleeping. There were zero mosquito's which meant lots of night fun!! Tim and I played horse shoes when the kids went to bed and were able to enjoy the camp fire too.

After all of our camping fun we went to our Stake Pioneer Days. It was pretty cool. Skylr got to shoot a bow and arrow, brand some wood, pet the animals, and sit in some wagons. K

Kade Homer, Logan Miller and Skylr Lucore on the wagon.
Karissa Homer, Tim, Kyle Homer, Skylr and Logan Miller in the same wagon being goofy :)

There was a lot more to do, but it was my birthday and we planned on seeing the last Harry Potter movie. So we sent the kids off the Grandma Debbie's and had a very fun time together on our birthday date.
The next day we went to Twin Falls and say some of Tim's family at a picnic. It was so great to catch up and chat with old familiar faces :)
Gavin is now 9 months old, he can sit up, roll around (because he refuses to crawl, just like his sister did), he eats whatever is in front of him, Gavin loves to jump in his bounce chair, but is still very much a mamas boy. He says mama when he is upset, but still wont say Dada. Gavin is such a mamas boy that I have to give Tim a heads up that i am going to pass through a room, just so Tim can distract Gavin to avoid making him historical. Gavin is a piece of work!! But we love him :)
Skylr is getting really tall, she is 40 inches and at the 90 percentile for everything. She has become quite the acrobat on her swing set, she likes to hang on the rings upside down with her feet in the rings just above her hands. Sky loves to play with Gavin and help me in the kitchen, most of the time she is a GREAT help!
