All Smiles

Tim has finally returned home after being in Ecuador for 3 weeks. He was teaching seminars and then was able to visit some of the families from his mission. We missed him lots while he was gone, but also had lots of fun on our own. We went to the Canyon County Fair (we were able to get free admision fron the newspaper). The kids had so much fun. Skylr pet all the animals she could, they played in the water (there was an old fire truck set out with its hose on to play in) and then we went to McDonalds to play on the indoor play area since it was so HOT outside. The kids had a blast and I did too (the funest times are often the least expensive times...lol). Skylr and I also kept busy by doing mani's and pedi's, taking walks, hangingout with family, going to the park and spending lots of time with my mom. Tim was also gonw during my birthday, so i celabrated with my mom. We went shoping and i got a free pair of maternity shorts from old navy with a coupon (those are always fun shoping sprees!!!) then dinner at Ice Burg...for there famous milk shakes for dessert. We were very happy when Tim got back though...we went to the park ad played and have been trying to get our outside summer projects wrapped up for a BBQ. The pregnancy is going great and Gavin is growing big big big...just the way we like. Skylr has also been growing and talking more...she often said that daddy is in ecuador and that we are in Idaho...she loves watching animal documentaries and going to the park. We are so happy to be together agian and hope that Tim doesn't veture off to far for a long time. :)

Staying Cool :)

Skylr and Logan have been doing lots of outside playing. Logan loves the water so we went to the park and he was showing Skylr how to enjoy the water, she thinks it's to cold even if it's 100 degrees outside. They have also been indulging in the fun treats of summer and making big Popsicle messes. Fourth of July was supposed to have been spent camping, but a storm came in last minute and the weather was supposed to be in the 30's at night and a high of 60 during the day. So to not relive the drama of packing up at 4am with a sick little girl we stayed home and had our own fun. Hopefully we can go camping once this season. We have also been enjoying the seasonal foods...Skylr had corn on the cob for the frist time and it was a hoot. She took a little reminding to eat it like a typewriter. My birthday will be spent ate the water park, then at an outdoor movie at the same park, the next day we will go to the Music Festival. Skylr and I are celebrating together since Tim has gone off to Ecuador with Partners of America. We have been using our community activities to keep us busy while Tim is gone and it has been very enjoyable. Tim will be back on the 6th of August...he updates our facebook often and if we are friends you should be able to read what he is up to.

Lot's Of Fun!!!

Yesturday we found out that we are having a BOY!!! We are so excited, but even happier to hear that he is healthy and growing great. I felt like I was having a boy for a while and Skylr kept telling us it's a boy not a girl. So i wasn't suprised, but Tim was sure rielieved (although he said he would love to have another girl, he just wanted to have a boy and the sooner the better). We have decided to name him Gavin James Lucore and he is still on track for Nov. 22nd 2010.

We have also been keeping busy with summer acivities. We got a swing set that Skylr loves...she constantly tells me "lylr want to wing mommy. wing on the wing set mommy" so we have been spending lots of time outside. We were also able to go to the zoo. Sky went last year, but this was way more fun. She walked around with us and told us the sounds all the animals make and had a blast. We also went to a Hawks game, which was lots of fun and Skylr seemed to like it. We have been crossing off projects from our list too...Grandpa and Tim installed an attic fan and cieling fan last week. I am so happy to have both, the house already seems much cooler...can't wait to see how much it helped our energy bill. Next is the patio extention along with a patio cover, then we should be done for the summer. :) Unless I think of more!!! :) he he he.

My aunt and her kids are in town from VA for the summer, so we have been at my grandparents house a lot to see them. The kids have been enjoying playing in the water and have lots of fun together. My uncle and his family from Vegas will be here this weekend and I can't wait to see all the little kids playing for the first time. Lots of fun!!!

Camping for the fourth and i can't wait...This year will be way more fun since Skylr can walk and we have a four wheeler. I am a little nervous to be camping while pregnant, but it should be alright. Our good friends the Huff's are also expecting in November so we can suffer together. lol.

In extremely cool news...Tim just got his acceptance letter today, confirming his trip to Ecuador this July. He will be there for three weeks teaching seminars and workshops for an organization he is now apart of. By participating in this workshop he will be highly considered for a teaching position at BSU after he recieves his BA in Dec. 2011. As well as be eligable to high school positions. This trip will be long and hard for Skylr and me, but Tim will enjoy every second and we are so excited for the opportunities it gives our family, so much earlier then we expected. As a bonus, Ecuador is where Tim served his mission and he has planned to visit some of the families he got to know there and has kept in contact with.

Guess Who is 2!!!

Skylr turned 2 on Friday and we had a fun BBQ party for her last night. There were 7 little kids ranging in age, but we had a blast. Thanks to all those who came, and especially to my mom who stayed with me all day making food for everyone. The kids seemed to have lots of fun, I got a ball for everyone and put there name on one to take home...they seemed to think that was pretty awesome. Skylr was pretty shy when it was present time and when we sang to her, but she did enjoy having all of her friends over. Skylr got lots of really cute outfits and fun stuff to play with.

My mom and I took some 2year pictures of Skylr and some 1year pictures of Logan at G&G's house that surprised us...they turned out was better then we could have imagined. It was a very fun experience and now we are current with pictures!! :)
We have also had a few doctors visits, and the baby is doing great...nice strong heart beat and is measuring perfectly. We will be able to find out the gender on June 28th...we are very excited and Skylr seems to be understanding more and more each day.

Easter Fun Fun Fun!!!

Skylr had her own Easter egg hunt in the house because it was all rainy and snowy. She also got to see Grandparents from both sides and a set of Great Grandparents from Utah. Thank you for all of the Easter basket fun, Skylr LOVED everything. Tim sold is Motorcycle and got a four wheeler...Skylr LOVES it, every day when tim comes home she asks to ride it. Tim has also been on spring break this last week and was building a shed until the weather interrupted his progress and now he has to finish it little by little over the weekends. He was also a little slow going after I was unable to help any more because we found out that I am pregnant again. I am 7weeks and 2days. We have had an ultra sound and everything looks GREAT. I am due November 22nd, and we are very excited. I have been feeling pretty sick for the past couple of weeks, but I think I may be feeling just a tiny bit better every day. Tim only has 6weeks left of school and after that only 9 more classes. we are so excited for him and can't wait for him to be done. Tim is also going to be laid off...not so good news, but we are looking forward to new beginnings. Tim will have his BA soon (as well as a Masters and hopefully a Doctorate) and he speaks Spanish so he will have no trouble finding a new job. We are going through lots of changes, but are still so thankful for our friends and family and all the support we receive. Thank you.

Nada

Well not much has been happening. We got a Betta fish and named him Moby. We cleaned out the garage and put a bunch of stuff on craigs list (sold almost half in two days). Tim's mom got back from a week long vacation in Mexico and brought us some awesome souvenir's. I made Skylr a chalk board and I am currently working on an alphabet book. Tim is looking forward to spring break at the end of this month which is when he will be putting up our shed (I can't wait to have all of the extra free space in the garage and begin to build up my food storage again). I have also been thinking about Sky's birthday in two months...how did time move so fast??? She is going to be two...what a big girl.

CRAZY

Well first in the CRAZY...Skylr's morning hair is always a funny sight and no matter how her hair was the day before or if she took a bath before bed, it is always crazy. Second is that we finally got some chairs for our front room, just to find that since some of the bolts are to long, when we put it together it split the wood...and because the bolts are wrong the chairs are wobbly. We are getting a replacement, but so far our Overstock.com experience was not good. But on a better note, we got free tickets to the Stampede Basketball game this last Saturday and had a fun date...it's been a long time since we have gone on a date like that, usually our dates are at home, watching a movie after Sky has gone to bed. lol, married life for ya!!! We enjoy it though!!!

Picasa

I have been having so much fun with this new photo editor that I downloaded for free of the web. My mom has it so I got the link from her and now I can't stop doing special effects to our pictures, it is way fun. Today we went on our first walk through the subdivision, we walked just over an hour and a little yellow dog followed us the whole time and kept buging Darby...I couldn't get ride of it for the life of me, at the end of our walk I almost had to literally kick it out of our garage. The kids had fun though...Logan slept most of the way and Sky told all the dogs to stop barking. I also got my new "sit n' stand plus" stroller as well as Sky's big carseat. Monday was like christmas all over agian. Since the carseat came in such a cool little box, we played in it all day and personalized it with crayons. We are haveing a fun time trying to get into the spring spirit. We are also planning some of our spring projects for the yard... I can't wait.

Sad News

Well we have some sad news to report. We had to make a trip to the ER Saturday night and we lost the baby. We want to thank Elroy and Edith for staying with Skylr until 1 am while we were gone. We have appreciated the support that we have already received. That being said, we are okay with what has happened and would rather that people not call to wish condolences. Feel free to leave any comments, but please don't call unless you think that our situation can help you in any way. Thank you.

All Settled In

We are officially all unpacked with pictures on the walls and everything.

Skylr loves her new full size bed and sleeps like an angel.

We attended our new ward for the first time...we attempted to go last week, but we had an alarm malfunction. We think we are really going to really enjoy this ward, it is so different from what we are used to. First of all they have 5 nursery's and are adding a 6th. There are about 15 pregnant women and two with newborns. Needless to say it is much younger than our other ward and that is very exciting to us. Sky was helping me clean today as well as posing in front of the awesome toy box her great grandpa Bastian made her...thank you again grandpa.
