Just before it warmed up we took a ride up to Lucky Peak and saw a few Dams that are in the area. Skylr thought that the water was pretty cool and we all had lots of fun together.

Once it did warm up, it REALLY warmed up, and we were able to go on a hike up to Jump Creek to see the waterfall for the first time s a family. Gavin enjoyed the ride in the wrap and Skylr was an amazing little hiker only needing help a few times.

Skylr was very impressed by the water fall and wanted to go in, until she put her feet in the water and found that it was COLD!

After the waterfall we went half way up the waterfall hike to a little 30 foot deep cave that Sky really wanted to go into, but we didn't have a flashlight :(

On the way back to the car we went over to the creek to see more little fish and lizards as well as to stop and take a picture under the tree canopy. We had so much fun!!

Three days after our Jump Creek trip we went and bought a truck...partly because while we were at Jump Creek our red Vibe was unable to get out of the parking lot and up the steep pot hole dirt hill without being towed by a big HD truck. We were sad to see the vibe leave, but have been really enjoying the truck and all of its abilities. We got a 2002 GMC Sierra HD.

Gavin is showing off his mad skills!! On June 7 Gavin went in for his 6 month check up and found that he had lost 2 lbs. in a month. So he was put on a high concentrate formula measure and completely off nursing and solids to gain his weight back (hoping it wasn't something else). Well the weight is back and we is gaining his muscle as well as chub (do to his weight loss he lost some muscles was becoming less active, so he is now trying to sit up and scoot around...and doing extremely well). Gavin only drank from a bottle 3 times in his first 7 months and I was worried he wouldn't take a bottle, but he did and to my surprise he started holding his own bottle after 1 week, what a champ! :)

Skylr loves her little brother so much! She always wants to help him and take care of him, sometimes to much, but it's always with LOVE!! :)

Playing together under the chairs. They are so silly. It is so fun to watch them together, she makes Gavin laugh and then they are both laughing at each other...I love being a stay at home mom so I can watch them grow and see all there funny little quirks.
