May 14,2008

Born May 14,2008 @ 10:41 am. She was 7lbs. 15oz., 20.5 in. long.
That morning was quite a surprise. I was scheduled to be induced at 7 am. Tim and I were right on time, they got me all set up, & the plitosin was kicking in. I was in labor for three hours before I asked for the epideral, I was dialated 5 cm, but during the check they found out she was breach. The doctors stopped the meds and rushed me into the operating room for an emergancy C-section. Skylr sparked Tim and my emotions and we cryed until She left the room to be measured and stuff. All of the doctors said she was perfect and looked like a Skylr Ann. She is a great baby and an even bigger blessing to our family.
When Tim saw Skylr he didn't think that she looked like him, but after a few glances we were able to show him how she looks so much like him...his eyes and hair, but she definatley has the Bastain nose and my lips.
I am recovering fast from the C-section and will be back to normal soon.
Starting Our Family

Tim and I, February 24, 2007.
Tim and i talked about getting married about a month before he proposed, he asked me questions about the type of ring i wanted. i told him that when i was fourteen i began writting in my journal about the wedding of my dreams, and i had already picked out a ring style i liked. Tim told me that when i was ready to get married that i should give him the piture of the ring that i wanted (which i kept in my journal). a few weeks later, we were reading our scriptures together and i suggested a verse. we turned to the verse and in Tim's scriptures was the picture of the ring that i wanted. Tim laughed and put the picture in his pocket, he had that picture for a very long time before he gave it back. It wasn't until October, after a camping trip with a group of friends, when he proposed. we were about ready to go miniture golfing with a few other couples when Tim knelt down in our livingroom and asked me to marry him. obviously i said yes, but he was so cute; he was shaking while trying to put the ring on my finger and fight back the tears. i couldn't believe my eyes when i say the ring...it was the ring that i wanted, although it was a little diffrent from the picture, i like it even better becuase he picked it out by himself for me.

July 2006. The day Tim and I met...White Water Raftting down the Payette River.
Tim and i met on the weekend of July 29th 2006, Tim had just moved to Utah to start his own Drywall business. He came back up to Idaho for the weekend just to go on the rafting trip (which he helped plan before he moved). Evan decided not to go (after Tim had already arrived in idaho) so Tim went on the rafting trip alone. Before we were able to get on the rafts we had to listen to some instructions, grab a helmet, life jacket and paddle. While the instructor was telling us about the risks, i walked over to Tim and asked "you're going to save me if i fall off the raft...right?" and Tim wittingly replied "of course." We got to talking and I followed him down to the rafts, we picked the blue one and off we went down the river. after the trip the ward started a fire and were roasting hot dogs and smores. Tim had mentioned something about a smore while he was walking to his truck, so i made him one; and as i gave him his smore, he gave me his phone number. I called him that night and we spent the rest of the weekend together until he went back to Utah sunday night. Tim visited me almost every weekend until he moved back to Idaho in October 2006 a few weeks after our engagment.

The Lucore's
This is Autney Lucore, i have been married over a year now and we have just received a new addition to our family. Starting from the beginning... Tim and I met July 2006 during a singles ward white water rafting trip down the Payette River. We were engaged three months later and married in the Boise, Idaho Temple February 24, 2007. May 14, 2008 was the birth of our daughter Skylr Ann Lucore. We have enjoyed every minute of having her at home with us, and can't wait to go on family outings. We are currently enjoying a long awaited brake from school. Tim is going to school for his masters in bilingual education at BSU, while I am finishing my associates of arts at TVCC. This summer we plan on having lots of family get togethers now that my parents have moved back to Idaho from Arizona; and we are so excited to see the Homer's as well. We do have a pretty fun trip planned for Tim's and my birthday. Hiking in McCall for me and a trip to Ugene, Oregon for the Oregon vs. BSU football game and to the coast with his brother. It will be our first family vacation. We can't wait to introduce our Passions to Skylr and can only hope she loves sports as much as we do.
